We invite you to familiarise yourself with the following information prior to giving your technician consent to perform any treatment:

  • Some residual swelling is normal for all procedures

  •  During the retouch appointment, we will fine tune any area that has faded more than others

  • Healing process is specific to each client

  •  It is important to realise that you will need a colour boost every 1-2 years in order to maintain a fresh, natural appearance

  • Due to the build-up of scar tissue, colour boosts will not be performed any sooner than 12 months post treatment

  • If your brows have faded more than would have liked, it is okay to pencil or powder them until your scheduled appointment

  • If you will be exposing your brows to sunlight post aftercare procedure, have oily skin use anti-ageing creams, retina/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, your cosmetics will fade permanently

  • As we age, our skin changes. The permanent make up will eventually look more powdered, this is universal with all permanent make up procedures.

  • Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. ‘Brows are sisters, not twins!’ is a phrase used within the industry.

  •  Dark Skin types please note that your permanent makeup will not appear as bold as lighter skin types. (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.) It will look more solid powdered.

Prior to your treatment:

  • Do not tan or sunburn on any areas of planned treatment - tan causes exfoliation, and in turn sheds pigment with it.

  • If you arrive for your appointment with signs of sunburn or sun tan, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • We will determine whether or not your skin is too tanned for treatment.

  • Do not exercise on the day of your procedure as increased body heat will expand the pores.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Coumadin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, unless medically necessary.

  •   You will need to be off Accutane (Acne Medication) for 12 months prior to treatment

For 2 weeks post treatment:

  • Keep the area dry completely - no water whatsoever

  • No Sweating/Exercise

  •  Do not sweat (heavily). Sweat contains salt which permanently removes pigment. It can also cause pigment to blur/fade.

  • Avoid direct shower contact on the treated area.

  • Absolutely nothing should be applied to the treated area

  • No Water

  • No Make up

  • No lotions

  • No Pencils

  • Avoid scrubbing the treated area (at least 1 month post treatment) Avoid sleeping directly on your face. Only touch the treated areas with squeaky clean hands during the healing process

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR APPOINTMENTS

Brows

  •  If you like, you can bring with you your eyebrows pencilled the way you like them. Bring a coloured pencil of choice.

  • If you get your eyebrows waxed or tinted, please have this done at least 7 days prior to your scheduled procedure. It is recommended to wait at least 14 days to have them waxed & 30 days for tinting after the procedure.

  • Regular makeup can be worn immediately after your procedure, just not on the treated area until healed.

  • The eyebrows WILL appear bolder immediately after the procedure. This is common in all Permanent Makeup applications. It will begin to soften up typically within 3-30 days.

  • When choosing a colour, it is recommended to go lighter until we see the healed results... we can always go darker at the touch up.. WE cannot go lighter.

  • Hair strokes WILL appear crisp and bold at first, but WILL soften up in appearance as the tissue heals. The area will shed taking some colour with it...this is normal. The area will begin to oxidise and darken over the 1st month.

  •  It is very common to have areas fade more so than others. This is part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended touch up appointment. Previously done eyebrows may take 1-3 treatments to achieve the desired result. Scar tissue in the brow area of eyebrows done multiple times WILL require additional procedures and fees will apply.

  • Red heads, blonds & fair skin types WILL experience more swelling, redness and fading than darker skin types.

  • Clients with darker skin (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.), Please know that the Hair Strokes WILL NOT appear as defined or as dark as lighter skin types due to the skin colour already being naturally darker.

Lips

  • If you like you can bring lipsticks and colours that you like and want to match.

  • If you get any aesthetics treatments, do not have any performed 2-4 weeks prior to appointment both sides. it is not reccomeneded to get any other treatment within the time period of having first lip blush and second top up session.

  • if wanting lip filler it is highly recommend to have lip blush performed first. Then after if desired have the lips filled with filler after both lip blush treatments have been complete and healed. This is to avoid migration.

  • When choosing a colour, it is recommended to go a little bolder until we see the healed results... with the lip blush the lip tissue is very fine and due to the area being lubricated and under constant movement the lip pigment only holds up to 50%. This meaning when the colour is healed it will appear 50% lighter than the colour you go home with. It is really important for clients to understand this process. We can adjust colours on top up if desired to change slightly.

  • Clients with darker skin (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.), Please know that the treatment you require is “Melain rich lips” The lip blush will need camouflaged if you have slightly hyper-pigmentation within the lips. Lip blush can also appear a little more ombre in some extreme cases due to the skin colour already being naturally darker. However, this is done to the individual and discussed on consultation.

Eyeliner

  • Eyeliner is recommended for individual eye shape and client suitability, we always recommend going smaller with eyeliner as it is more of a makeup result.

  • Lash liner is more natural and realistic, but if desired a wing eyeliner we will recommend going smaller to begin with as we can always add more on future appointments, however we can not take away!

  • All skin types will experience swelling, redness and soreness slightly on the upper eyelids this is normal due to the eye area being more fine and sensitive skin.

  • The area is pre numbed and numbed throughout, however your eyes will feel a little pressure and it can feel ticklish within the lashes. Please note if you have extremely sensitive eyes and not not like your eyelids being touched this treatment is not for you.

  • It is very common to have areas fade more so than others. This is part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended touch up appointment. Previously done eyeliner may take 1-3 treatments to achieve the desired result. Scar tissue in the brow area of eye done multiple times WILL require additional procedures and fees will apply.

  • If you wear contact lenses please wear your glasses for your appointment, if you struggle with your sight and would feel better having transport or someone else drive please do however most commonly clients are absolutely fine post treatment. Although the eyes can feel a little tight there is not any changes or major concerns just a little swelling.

  • Do not wear any eye makeup to your appointment, this can cause loss of time for myself to remove and also can cause more risk to infection.

Aftercare

  • Day 1- Clean area 3 times a day, 2-3 hour intervals with sterilised cool water (damp not soaking) immediately after / same day of treatment

  • Days 2-5 - The first day after treatment is classes as the “dry healing” Do not get area wet for 2 weeks. Only apply a thin layer of the balm provided once per day.

  • Do not pick any scabs that may form, let them fall off on their own accord. Do not brush or itch.

  • No make-up for 2 week. including skin care product or oil based creams (can go around treatment are however not on)

  • No direct sunlight (sunbathing or sunbeds) for 30 days.

  • No light therapies, chemical peelings, facials, microdermabrasions or creams that contain rejuvination factors for 30 days.

  • Avoid laser treatments over the treated area for 30 days as this can destroy the pigment and cause colour change.

  • The use of antibiotics and and hormonal therapy can elad to a faster pigment fading.

  • No exercise for two weeks.

  • If you accidentally get the area wet use a dry tissue and pat gently.

  • No swimming until the area has completely healed. It is recommended to apply some vaseline to your brows when swimming after healing to protect the colour and stop chlorine/salt water from entering.

Permanent makeup is a form of tattooing. It's a semi-permanent procedure using a specialist hand held tool which holds disposable micro-blades or a machine with the use of needles. The pigment is implanted into the superficial dermis which allows us to create crisp, soft and natural-looking hair strokes, liner and lip blush.

Just Peachy Brows specialist, will begin the procedure by using a face mapping technique. We will first study the shape of your brows and the design will be made to compliment your facial features. We aim for individual strokes on your brows to mimic natural hair.
We use only the best pigments that are available in the industry.

If you suffer from hair loss or alopecia and you have lost a significant amount of eyebrow hair. Given that some individuals suffer from skin disease or even cancer, lack of hair growth is visible in these cases. Permanent makeup, Eyebrow treatments will give your brows the perfect shape and they would still be so natural no one would know you’ve had them done!

Permanent Makeup gives you the luxury of not smudging or rubbing off, meaning you can enjoy vigorous physical activities without worrying about their brows coming off the skin.

The pigment we use is high quality, and will not change colour. It is specifically made to retain its colour, and at most you may just need a touch-up session.

    Does it Hurt?

The treatment can be slightly uncomfortable, but  bearable. However we do use numbing cream throughout which can make the treatment more relaxing. Red heads, blondes and fair skin types may experience more swelling and redness than darker skin types.

    Results
There are many factors that can affect the result of your treatments. The main factor is the aftercare. The better you look after your pmu the longer they will last. Our skin changes as we age so eventually the permanent makeup will look more powdered. This happens will all SPM procedures. Hair strokes will appear crisp and bold at first, but will soften up in appearance as the tissue heals. The area will shed, taking some colour. This is normal. The brows will start to oxidise and darken over the 1st month. It is common to have some areas fading more than others. This is part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended re-touch appointment.

Skin type is also another factor that can affect the result. If you have oily skin, your results will look softer and more powdered instead of crisp strokes. If you have dark skin, please be aware your SPM will not appear as bold as lighter skin types. Red heads, blondes and fair skin types may experience more fading than darker skin types.
